Team Achieves First End-to-End Malaria Procurement

GHSC-PSM kicked off 2017 with the completion of its first full-cycle procurement of long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs), from requisition order receipt to quality assurance to delivery. 

The order of 570,474 LLINs was delivered to three provinces in Tanzania and one in Zanzibar in early January.

Inspection and sampling using concurrent testing criteria was conducted in late November, and all batches were found compliant. The LLINs were divided into 25 containers and simultaneously transported to multiple locations.
